Project description:

In4.0 plc are a consultancy and training service provider specifically for industry 4.0 technologies, who’s customers are SMEs based in the north west of England. They provide specialist training packages and consultancy project services to introduce their customers to new technologies and innovations disrupting the manufacturing industry.

IN4.0 have excellent service delivery partners across all fields of technology, and as part of this they deliver “factory days” where new technology can be explored and demonstrated live in an educational setting.

As part of this training, and introduction of new technology to manufacturing business’s in the region, Volta was responsible for the development of In4.0’s first factory event.

Project managed by one of our technical consultants the event was centred around additive manufacturing and 3-Printing. Some of the leaders in additive manufacturing were screened by Volta to ensure all technical competencies were covered during the event. These industry leaders included companies such as BAE, Ultimaker BG, Renishaw, and magic candy.

The initial event was a huge success, with many manufacturing businesses exposed to additive manufacturing for the first time, and due to the event being a success the model was expanded further and adopted as a staple within the offerings of the IN4.0 group.

“Our factory event brought together industry leaders within manufacturing who had not yet embraced industrial digital technologies, the success of this event means that those companies now understand how much of an impact additive manufacturing can have on their business and how it can disrupt their production methods, and increase their bottom line. This is the first of many events we will be delivering that’s to this success” Mo Isap, CEO, IN4.0.
